Arrowood Community Interior Design Update

Decorative Interiors was brought in to refresh and redesign several key areas of a home in the Arrowood community of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The scope included updates to the bathroom, master bedroom, built-in shelving, and an underutilized bonus room adjacent to the living area.

In the bathroom, we elevated the space with a custom, colorful extended-length shower curtain, a soft striped rug, and a vibrant piece of artwork—adding personality and warmth to the room.

The master bedroom received a subtle yet impactful upgrade with the addition of textured wallpaper behind the bed, bringing depth and dimension to the focal wall.

To enhance the built-ins on either side of the TV, we curated a collection of accessories—mixing new finds with the homeowner’s existing items. The result is a layered, collected look that brings texture, color, and visual interest.

The bonus room redesign transformed a previously unused space into a welcoming, functional conversation area. We kept the black armoire bar and industrial console table, and introduced a new area rug, four swivel chairs, two round side tables, fresh artwork, and a stylish chandelier. This new gathering spot is ideal for cocktails or overflow seating during family get-togethers.
