Market Common Master Bathroom Revocation

The Master Bathroom full remodel was a really exciting project to work on. The client is a long standing close friend & lives in my community. She had been waiting for the right time to transform this beautiful space into a jewel box. Her selections where very specific with a upscale Charleston feel.

Changing the floor plan slightly made all the difference in the design. We moved the toilet on the opposite wall to obscure the position behind the half wall. The first selection was the colorful sophisticated Thibault wallpaper for the backdrop of the vanity. It is from the Anna French collection Winter Bud. To compliment the wallpaper the shower walls are selected in hand glazed tile in a robin’s egg blue with slight variations in color. A simple hexagon shape porcelain tile is selected to look like marble, white color with light gray vanes.

Plumbing fixtures and vanity lights are chosen in shiny chrome. The crisp white vanity is adorned with hand made green glass hardware. The stunning honed white sand marble in Green & light blue is selected to tie all the colors of the room to be well balanced. This stunning marble is repeated on the shower threshold & around the half wall. An extra thick shelf is added in the marble for a shelf in the shower and extends to the other side of the half wall. This shelf is useful on both sides of the half shower wall for plants and accessories.

Two white coral organic shaped mirrors in wave & texture are ordered to bring in the crisp white of the trim and walls to solidify the sophisticated coastal design. A light blue Sherwin Williams color, open air is selected for the ceiling. This color repeats really softly the color of the room &  and highlights the thick crisp white thick crown molding.

One small window brings in natural light and a custom roman shade is made in a plaid unifying the colors. I show the client a picture of the size and colors in an abstract landscape to be placed on the one large wall that needs artwork. She takes the same size canvas and duplicates the image and colors. The last piece of the puzzle is completed when I order a custom colored rag rug in a runner the size of the double vanity. The colors of the green and blue give the floor color and texture & complete this spectacular spa master bathroom for years to come.
