High Point Spring 2025
The High Point show seemed a little less busy this year. I allow myself only three days and plan out my stay strategically. The entire town opens up for the event, and it covers a very large area. I park in a different location each day and focus on one section at a time to make the most of my visit. This approach saves time and allows me to target the buildings and showrooms I need to see.
For this particular market, my strategy was unique. I have an extremely modern client, so my goal was to focus on the modern showrooms and buildings to find the right products. Thankfully, I was successful in achieving my wish list.
Bernhardt Furniture was a true standout. They have recently moved into the former Klaussner freestanding showroom, which spans two floors and 90,000 square feet. Bernhardt has done an exceptional job expanding their brand for both retailers and designers. Their style has evolved with the times, now offering a transitional-to-modern aesthetic in natural colors. They’ve also significantly expanded their outdoor collection since COVID. Their price point remains attractive for medium- to high-end clientele, checking many boxes for both quality and style.
Green seemed to be the color of Spring 2025. However, I didn’t notice a distinct overall style trend this season. Most showrooms presented beautifully with neutral palettes and clean lines. Larger pieces of furniture tend to look better in calm, neutral tones—you can live with them longer, and they become timeless. Change the rug, pillows, artwork, and accessories to refresh the space. Adding color in smaller doses is easier on the eye and more manageable to update.
Of course, I always love to see the new coastal looks that continue to grow in popularity, especially where I live.
I hope you enjoy the photos I’ve selected from this market to share my experience with you.
