2025 High Point Show Summary Highlights.
Warm Woods, Deep Greens, and the Art of the Mix.
The repeating trends at the Fall High Point Market showcased warm, rich browns, camel tones, and deep emerald green. These colors appeared consistently across bedding, furniture finishes, wallpaper, rugs, and fabrics.
Multipurpose and grouped coffee tables continued to be a strong trend in many major showrooms. Soft ottomans layered with adjustable wooden surfaces offered both comfort and functionality—combining hard and soft surfaces for the best of both worlds. Many displays featured groupings of small to medium tables in mixed materials, creating flexible, visually interesting arrangements. It’s a smart look and a unique way to set your home apart with thoughtful, modern styling.
Where Tradition Curves Into Modern: High Point’s Fall Design Story
Another recurring element was the presence of warm, rich burlwood furniture, echoing an antique, reproduction-inspired aesthetic. Much of it appeared in curved consoles and coffee tables. This blend of traditional and contemporary elements seems here to stay. Many popular design shows highlight this mix—modern lighting paired with traditional interiors—adding whimsy, depth, and unexpected charm.
High Point is always a valuable place for me to source unique pieces for my clients and recharge creatively. By the end of the third day, the sensory overload leaves me ready to return to Myrtle Beach for a well-earned rest.
Layers of Style: Coffee Tables, Burlwood, and a Market Full of Inspiration
A favorite moment this year was Dan Foley’s book signing at Harp & Finial for *It’s All in the Mix*—a wonderful celebration and a highlight of the trip. High Point is always a joy, especially when surrounded by the industry’s inspiring designers and creatives. Until the Spring show of 2026!
